Yesterday we went on a boat cruise to the Brooklyn Bridge and back, we managed to get some quite nice pictures and Stephen took a couple of movies. The weather although cold was quite good with the sun shining most of the day. We also went into Macys our fave department store and bought a few shirts that were on special and so much cheaper than at home. A good day was had by both of us.
All dressed to face the weather and go to the show off Broadway |
I cannot describe how cold I felt the fur on my hood is pointing one way as the icy cold wind was blowing it that way!!!! |
Stephen is far more jovial in the cold than me.........ummmmmm I think QLD is perfect for me! |
The smoke was actually blowing down the street fast! |
Look no hands!!!! In the jacket so they don't freeze and fall off LOL |

I'm thinking you both forgot to pack your long underwear!
ReplyDeleteHa ha fortunately for me I bought some fleece lined tights in Australia, I didn't know they existed but they are truly the best for the cold. Having said that, when the wind howls its absolutely freezing, yesterday was the worst but we have luckily had some much better days. Glad to see you're following our trip, hope all is well with you :) xx
ReplyDeleteyou sure looked cold. great photos of the city.fancy living there with winters like that.
ReplyDeleteIt was freezing!!!! I couldn't stand it myself, way too cold. xxxx
DeleteTrace I remember being that cold my teeth ached!! Hopefully tomorrow will be warmer for you both, great pics once again. Do they have those little snap disc hand warmers? They work a treat & last four hours.
ReplyDeleteYes I know what you mean I remember you saying that! Gosh its been cold, it doesn"t bother Stephen of course but even with gloves my hands freeze, and my face the rest is fine. I do have a little pocket hotty that was given to me, i shall keep an eye out for the snap disc hand warmers too :)
