NY Day 5 & 6

Well to say today was cold was a massive understatement!!!! It was absolutely freezing, to the point of unbearable for me just 1 degree and very windy. We rugged up big time and headed down to the The St James Theatre to watch Present Laughter starring Kevin Kline. It was absolutely great, truly enjoyable. The play started at 2pm and after it finished we came straight home to get out of the cold and into the warmth of the apartment, such a nice feeling!
Yesterday we went on a boat cruise to the Brooklyn Bridge and back, we managed to get some quite nice pictures and Stephen took a couple of movies. The weather although cold was quite good with the sun shining most of the day. We also went into Macys our fave department store and bought a few shirts that were on special and so much cheaper than at home. A good day was had by both of us.
All dressed to face the weather and go to the show off Broadway

I cannot describe how cold I felt the fur on my hood is pointing one way as the icy cold wind was blowing it that way!!!!
Stephen is far more jovial in the cold than me.........ummmmmm I think QLD is perfect for me!
The smoke was actually blowing down the street fast!

Look no hands!!!! In the jacket so they don't freeze and fall off LOL

This is a big sport/gym area

Apparently Nicole Kidman and husband and Hugh Jackman and wife lived in one of these three towers

  2. Ha ha fortunately for me I bought some fleece lined tights in Australia, I didn't know they existed but they are truly the best for the cold. Having said that, when the wind howls its absolutely freezing, yesterday was the worst but we have luckily had some much better days. Glad to see you're following our trip, hope all is well with you :) xx
