Well how wonderful to see the sun shining. The difference in the temperature is huge, or at least it seems so. We didn't have to rug up quite as much. Today we left the apartment on foot to walk to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.  It was a long way and we were able to once again walk in parts of central Park, with the snow everywhere. We walked into the Strawberry fields memorial to John Lennon and heard a guy playing guitar and singing some of his songs. Many people were gathered
around taking pictures of the mosaic like circle on the pavement with Imagine written on it.
Once again on our way we finally made it to The Met, what a wonderful Museum, we only scraped the surface on the amount of things we could see. Lovely paintings, sculptures, photographs etc etc, one would need days to see it all.  After we had finished our visit we walked home, my legs and feet were killing me but a great day all the same.
