Las Vegas 1

The ceiling up close!
Wow! What an amazing place. We arrived late in the afternoon as our plane was delayed but were certainly impressed when we entered The Bellagio Hotel. A beautiful glass flower shapes ceiling in the foyer and lovely big vases of flowers, very pretty!
After a very nice dinner in the buffet we set out onto the glitzy Neon street! You just cannot help but be impressed by it all. So much colour and lights, albeit fake, the Eiffel Tower still manages to make a big presence, and the Bellagio and other Casino buildings are huge and all lit up. Tomorrow we plan to set out and explore the place in more detail. Lots of good photos to be taken too I hope. Lots to explore!
I have just read in the Bellagio magazine in our room that the glass ceiling below is in fact a chandelier made by sculptor Dale Chihuly!
Beautiful reception area in The Bellagio!
Very impressive at night!
Our room, lovely comfortable beds!
The Bellagio at night, the fountain displays in front of it are extraordinary to watch.
This is the first thing we saw in the Las Vegas Domestic terminal!!!!!! Can you believe it Pokies in the airport!
Weary traveller in the corridor of our hotel, ready for dinner!
Its hard to take decent night pics on my camera but this gives an idea of what it looks like.
Anyone that's had children might remember K'nex, quite a good exmple of what one can make with them!

  2. That chandelier certainly deserves a WOW! It is amazing and the town certainly looks spectacular with all the pretty lights. That is hilarious to have the poker machines at the airport too! I couldn't see that happening in Australia. Hope you enjoy your time in Las Vegas!
